Welcome to Treks Advisor. By accessing our website or booking any trek, expedition, or yatra with us, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully before proceeding.

1. Booking and Contract

By booking a trek or expedition with Treks Advisor, you enter into a legal contract with us. A booking is considered confirmed only upon receipt of the required deposit and our written confirmation. You must provide accurate personal details as required for trekking permits and government documentation.

2. Services Provided

Trekking & Expeditions: Including Everest Base Camp, Annapurna Circuit, Manaslu, and Everest Summits.
Specialized Yatras: Including the Kailash Manasarovar Yatra.
All-Inclusive Packages: Standard packages include meals (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner), licensed guides, porter services, and domestic transportation as specified in the itinerary.

3. Physical Fitness and Health Risk

Many of our treks and expeditions reach altitudes above 5,000 meters. By booking, you confirm that you are in good physical health and have consulted a medical professional prior to participation.

Trekking and mountaineering involve inherent risks including altitude sickness, extreme weather, and challenging terrain. By booking with Treks Advisor, you voluntarily assume all such risks.

Our guides reserve the right to stop any participant from continuing a trek if their health or safety is at risk. In such cases, no refund will be provided.

4. Travel Insurance

Comprehensive travel insurance is mandatory for all trekkers and climbers. Your insurance policy must cover:

Emergency helicopter evacuation
Medical expenses at high altitudes
Trip cancellation and personal liability

For high-altitude expeditions such as Everest, specific high-altitude coverage is required.

5. Changes to Itinerary and Pricing

The Himalayas are unpredictable. We reserve the right to modify itineraries due to weather conditions, safety concerns, flight delays (such as Lukla), or government restrictions.

While we strive to maintain fixed prices, costs may change due to significant variations in government permit fees, exchange rates, or fuel surcharges.

6. Cancellation and Refund Policy

Please refer to our separate Cancellation and Refund Policy for detailed timelines. In general, deposits are non-refundable as they are used to secure permits and logistics in advance.

No refunds are provided for no-shows or if you leave a trek early for any reason.

While we strive to maintain fixed prices, costs may change due to significant variations in government permit fees, exchange rates, or fuel surcharges.

7. Intellectual Property

All content on treksadvisor.com, including text, logos, trek descriptions, and photography of the Nepal Himalayas, is the property of Treks Advisor. Unauthorized use for commercial purposes is strictly prohibited.

8. Limitation of Liability

Treks Advisor acts as an organizer and is not liable for any injury, loss, or damage caused by third-party providers, natural disasters, or failure to follow guide instructions and safety protocols.

9. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Nepal. Any disputes arising from these terms shall fall under the jurisdiction of the courts of Kathmandu, Nepal.
